I haven’t forgotten about the site, I have just been in Afghanistan and haven’t really been able to work on any of my websites. I am hoping though that I will be able to start publishing a few articles a week especially since I have so much new music to tell yall about and a few programs where you enjoy some good music at a fairly low price. So keep your eyes open and as soon as I can get set back up I will be doing a few articles. I also want to thank everyone for all of the comments on my posts.

You may have noticed the new them here on the site. Does that mean I am going to get the site back up and running? Well that is my plan, I am hoping to be able to get a few great articles up this week and continue. A little more about the new theme. It came from a great guy over at Epic Web Strategies. It is called The WordPress Dream Theme and it is a great new them with awesome service behind it.This theme probably would have cost me around $600 or more but right now Ben is selling it for a whole lot less than that.

As soon as I got it up I was contacted and asked if I needed any help and the replies to any of my questions were prompt and right on the money. I was even offered many suggestions about plugins and banners. He even made the custom banner that you see the site using. He told me that he would do the same for anyone that buys the theme. The theme is very customizable and you will be able to make it fit your blog easily. If you have any questions just comment and I will try to answer your questions.

I have been listening to some great music today that isn’t normally on my play list rotation. I have some Blind Faith playing Do What You Like right now and it is a great song with a whole lot of improvisation going on. If you know much about Blind Faith of course you know that Eric Clapton was a big part of it. The group was a sort of super-group made of of stars from other groups. It included the likes of Ginger Baker from Cream and Graham Bond Organisation, Steve Winwood from Traffic and Spencer Davis Group, and Ric Grech from Family. If you get a chance check out the self titled album Blind Faith, it was re-released in 2000 with a few extra songs.

Discography;

1. Had To Cry Today

2. Can’t Find My Way Home

3. Well All Right

4. Presence Of The Lord

5. Sea Of Joy

6. Do What You Like

7. Sleeping In The Ground

8. Acoustic Jam

9. Time Winds

10. Sleeping In The Ground (slow blues version)

and then four tracks of the group jamming

Here is a video of Can’t Find My Way Home;

This will hopefully be the beginning of a great site. One where I will hopefully share with you my love for music and maybe get some feedback from everyone on the music they love. While doing that I hope we can find some great stuff to listen to. My favorite type of music by far has to be the blues. I have always loved the blues, I just didn’t know it. I listened to a lot of rock bands who started out wanting to sing the blues. Then one day back in the early 90’s I caught the Stevie Ray Vaughan VH1 episode and I knew then that that was what the music was missing. I would then take all of those old sounding songs from Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and others and figure out who the original artist were and listen to the original. (A lot of songs were traditionals and were redone numerous times. It seems that the first to record a particular song would get credit for it)
